Why This Community Exists
The WOPL Community is a women-centered space for support, conversation, and practical guidance around powerlifting and strength training. It is designed for women who want connection, clarity, and a better experience in the sport.
This community is for women in and around powerlifting, including beginners, first-meet lifters, experienced competitors, returning lifters, moms, masters lifters, and women who are still figuring out where they fit in strength training. WOPL community is meant to support women at different stages, from curious newcomers to experienced lifters.
No. You do not need to compete or call yourself a powerlifter already. If you are interested in strength training, powerlifting, or want support in that world, you are welcome here.
We are committed to building a respectful and supportive environment. Harassment, bullying, creepy behavior, and inappropriate messages are not welcome. Safety, privacy, and women-centered support matter here.
No. This is a community space, not a coaching program. It is a place for conversation, encouragement, shared experience, and practical support. Coaching or specialist resources may be part of the broader WOPL experience later, but the community itself is not 1:1 coaching.
Yes. Women returning after time away are absolutely welcome. The community is meant to support women through different seasons of training and life.
Practical support, thoughtful conversation, and women-centered discussion around the realities of training and staying in the sport.
After joining, you will create your account, answer a few quick questions, and be guided to the best place to start. You will not be expected to figure everything out on your own.
